What if we start using PoolDues when some members have already paid for the upcoming pool season?

That’s no problem. When we import your member list, we just need to know which members have paid vs. which haven’t. That could be as easy as adding a column that just says Paid, or including an actual expiration date. PoolDues uses Expiration Dates to determine if a member is in good standing or not. For more information about Expiration Dates, check out our Expiration Basics article.

To think of it simply, when doing Spring invoicing, if a member expires the current year, they need to pay and will receive an invoice. After paying, their expiration is sometime in the next year, and they no longer receive an invoice.

Once a membership has expired, they no longer have member privileges so, for example, they can’t reserve a tennis court, purchase event tickets or log into the website.

This will get members paying their dues on time for a change!
